The blueprint editor for your home.

Trace your floor plan, draw walls, doors and windows to the centimetre, and see the house in 3D while you draw. Then furnish it with real products at their real size.

1Trace

Start from the plan you already have.

Import a scan or a page of a PDF, set the scale from one length you know, and trace over it. Walls snap to the lines of the drawing and take their thickness.

2Build

Walls, rooms, doors and windows.

Type lengths as you draw and bend a wall by dragging its midpoint. Closed walls become rooms with their area. Every door and window has its type: hinged, sliding, tilt and turn.

3Furnish

Real products at their real size.

Drag a piece from the catalog: it lands against the nearest wall, with its distances shown on the floor. Choose finishes and options from its product sheet.

4Variants

One model, every version of it.

Products come with their options: fabric, finish, size, extra modules. Change them on the piece you placed: the plan, the 3D and the measurements follow.

5Together

Invite people and draw together.

Invite a partner, a designer or the builder by email, to edit or just to look and comment. Everyone sees the others’ pointers and changes as they happen, and comments stay pinned to what they are about.

63D

The 3D builds itself as you draw.

Every wall, opening and piece of furniture is in the 3D view the moment you draw it. Work in 2D, in 3D, or with both side by side, and change a finish to see it straight away.

Scroll

Drawing a home, precisely.

Blupinta is made for drawing one home well: the walls you measured, the doors as they open, the stairs you climb. The 3D follows every change.

Trace a scanned plan

Drop in a PNG, a JPEG or a page of a PDF. Set the scale on a length you know and check it on another one, straighten the sheet, crop it and set north. Then trace: the wall tool finds the drawn walls and picks up their thickness.

  • Replace the scan later with a better one, lined up on two points
  • The scan’s opacity and contrast are yours to set, without changing anyone else’s view

Draw to the centimetre

Type a length while you draw (3.45, 345 cm, 2.40+0.15) and press Tab for the angle. Lengths and clearances follow the selection; click any of them to type a new value.

  • Measured something with a tape? Type it between two walls and the plan adjusts
  • Snapping to ends, midpoints, perpendiculars and 15°, 45°, 90°, each on or off

Doors and windows as they are

Place doors, windows and French windows on a wall: they show their distances to what is around them and refuse to overlap. Each type says how many leaves it has, how they open, the frame, the glazing, the sill and the shutters.

  • Hinged, tilt and turn, sliding, lift and slide, pivot, folding and more
  • Sill and head heights edited on the wall’s elevation

Stairs and levels

Straight, L, U and spiral stairs, drawn along the walking line. Blupinta works out the risers and warns you when the steps get uncomfortable. Stack levels at their heights: the floor above and the floor below show faintly while you draw.

  • Landings or winders, a railing or a low wall on each side
  • The hole in the floor above is cut for you

Furnish it with what you own, or what you want to buy.

The catalog holds real products with the sizes from their spec sheets, their finishes and their options. What you place is what will fit.

Every piece where it belongs

Wall pieces hang on the wall at their height, floor pieces turn their back to the nearest wall. The distances to walls and to other pieces show on the floor: click one and type the one you want.

  • Align, distribute, repeat in a row, group, swap for another product
  • Drawers, doors and seats show the space they need, in red when it is blocked

Options from the product sheet

Pick a finish, a size or a fabric, fill the cells of a bookcase with drawers and doors, put your own picture in a frame. Apply a choice to one piece or to all the similar ones in the room.

  • The size and the maker’s article number are always on the panel

An inventory, room by room

Every piece in the home, listed by room with its options, and whether it is placed or still to place. Add what you own in bulk, then drag it onto the plan from the tray.

  • Move pieces between rooms, duplicate them, filter by room, category or state

Work on the same home together.

The person who measures and the person who decides, a partner, a designer: everyone edits the same drawing at the same time, without passing files around.

Invite who you need

Send an invitation by email and choose what each person can do: editors draw and furnish, viewers look around and leave comments. Change a role or remove someone whenever you want.

  • A partner, a designer, the builder, the family: as many people as the home needs
  • Everyone signs in with a passkey or an email link, with no password to remember

Live, like a shared document

Changes appear for everyone as they are made. You see the others’ pointers and selections in their colour; click someone’s avatar to follow what they are looking at.

  • Undo only undoes your own steps, never someone else’s
  • Changes made offline are sent when the connection returns

Comments on the drawing

Pin a comment to a wall, a window or a piece of furniture: the pin moves with it. Reply in threads, mention someone and they get an email with a link to the thread, resolve it when it is done.
